Hayes the Brave
Tubing connects with a port in Hayes' chest that gives access to a vein, that way antibodies can be pumped directly into his bloodstream. Every month, Hayes and his parents make the trip to Indianapolis so Hayes can receive an infusion of antibodies through a vein in his chest. Because of a rare chromosome disorder, Hayes' immune system doesn't function properly, so he has to receive the antibodies in his bloodstream in order to stay healthy.
