Maconaquah Elementary students gathered to watch their principal Kelly McPike and the middle school principal Craig Jernagan kiss a pig on May 30, 2018 held by Alexandra Merritt. The event was a fundraiser that brought in $1100 to help a family who's father is in the hospital with a brain tumor. McPike doned a haz mat suite but did take the mask off for another kiss.
