Stellantis and Samsung SDI to invest over $2.5 Billion in a joint venture to produce Lithium-Ion batteries for electric vehicles. The announcement came from Mark Stewart, COO Stellantis North America, on Tuesday May 24, 2022, at Ivy Tech Community College in Kokomo, Indiana. The plant will be built on 142 acre lot southeast of the Stellantis Kokomo Engine Plant.
